This vehicle seat sliding device is provided with: a first rail that is adapted in a manner so as to be affixed to one of either a vehicle floor or seat; a second rail that is adapted in a manner so as to be affixed to the other of either the vehicle floor or seat, and is linked to the first rail in a relatively movable manner; a locking member that selectively limits and permits the relative motion of the first and second rails; an operation member configured in a manner so that operating force releasing the limiting of the relative motion in the second rail is transmitted to the locking member; and a cover that is mounted to the first end of the second rail and occludes the first end. The cover has a locking piece that engages a support wall provided in the second rail and limits the rotation of the cover when pressed to the operation member.
