The method involves forging a component (1) i.e. connection joint, from a slug. Hollow chambers (5, 7, 9, 11) are formed in the slug, when forging process is enabled, and a stamper is pressed into the slug. The component is made from the slug by die-forging in particularly hollow pressing, and a stamper is movably guided in a forging die lateral along main forging direction. The stamper is pivoted to form a predetermined geometry of the hollow chambers that are pivoted with stamper and formed as an open-edged recess for inserting rod-shaped or tubular profiles.
