The cross beam (10) has a beam main structure having a cavity (16) in which a power electronic unit for driving the electric machine (24), is accommodated. The beam main structure is extended in engine compartment (12) in the vehicle transverse direction, and is supported by a bearing supporting unit (14) of the vehicle. The power electronic unit and the electric machine are cooled together by cooling circuits. An independent claim is included for vehicle.
