PURPOSE: A cutting device with a wire saw is provided to cutting the inside of carbon graphite without many losses by using a guide unit guiding the wire saw to a groove of the cylindrical carbon graphite. CONSTITUTION: A cutting device(1) with a wire saw comprises a frame(20), a wire saw(30), a guide unit(40), and a driving unit(50). The frame supports a cut object(10). The guide unit guides the wire saw to a groove formed in a cutting position of the cut object in a longitudinal direction of the cut object. The driving unit is installed in the frame and drives the wire saw in order to horizontally cut the cut object along a surface of the groove in an inner direction of the groove. The driving unit(50) comprises a motor(51), a driving pulley(52) moving the wire saw, and a tension pulley(53) maintaining tension of the wire saw by supporting a working area of the wire saw. |
