<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a connection destination appropriately depending on a communication quality of a wireless LAN (Local Area Network). <P>SOLUTION: A wireless communication device performing wireless communication by using a wireless LAN (Local Area Network) or at least one wireless communication method other than the wireless LAN, has: a wireless LAN module 3 performing communication by the wireless LAN; a 3G module 2 performing communication by a digital portable telephone method conforming to the IMT-2000 standard; and a controller 4 determining whether or not a reception quality of a signal received from a plurality of wireless LAN base stations is larger than a first threshold, and in the case that a wireless LAN base station which has transmitted the signal having the reception quality larger than the first threshold is present, selecting a wireless LAN base station having the highest priority of a preliminarily-registered priority order of wireless LAN base stations.
