<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new aerodynamic brake for a railroad vehicle for providing large drag as the whole vehicle while being a smaller aerodynamic brake disc. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of aerodynamic brake discs 20 of a laterally long rectangular shape of a height h are arranged by two rows in a row shape at an arranging interval r on a roof of a vehicle 10. The height h is set so as to satisfy 0.2≤(h/δ)≤0.5, and a suitable arranging interval r is determined in response to the height h.
