<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a power generator on the windward of a prediction target power generator on the basis of the pattern of power generation amount variation situation in the past, and to predict a power generator becoming a prediction target accurately on the basis of the actual variation pattern of power generation amount of the power generator thus identified. <P>SOLUTION: A prediction target variation pattern in a collation time zone of the power generation amount of a photovoltaic power generator of prediction target is collated with each peripheral variation pattern in a collated time zone prior to the collation time zone of the power generation amount of a plurality of peripheral power generators. A power generator of peripheral variation pattern approximate to the prediction target variation pattern is identified as a power generator on the windward of the power generator of peripheral variation pattern. A prediction power generation amount Wpv of a power generator becoming a prediction target in a prediction target time zone after a predetermined time is predicted based on the peripheral variation pattern of a the power generator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
