Disclosed are a mobile terminal boot control method and a mobile terminal. The method includes: when a boot detection flag bit in a mobile terminal is high, judging whether there is an external power supply access event; if it is judged that there is an external power supply access event, and it is detected that the current status of the mobile terminal is shutdown, then triggering an external power supply boot event, and setting the boot detection flag bit to high; if it is judged that there is no external power supply access event, then judging whether there is a key-pressing event; and if it is judged that there is a key-pressing event, and this key-pressing event is determined to be used for controlling the mobile terminal to boot, then triggering a key-pressing boot event, and setting the boot detection flag bit to high. The technical solution of the present invention proposes a specific implementation solution for supporting two types of boot events using an existing power supply management chip. |
