The present invention provides a method for automatically coupling a mobile communication terminal (SP) to a central computation unit in a motor vehicle. This involves the use of a virtual representation area of the vehicle on a vehicle Internet page (VHP) which is provided by a server (IS). The method comprises the following steps: set-up of a communication link between a mobile communication terminal (SP) and the Internet server (IS) and use of the mobile communication terminal (SP) to log into the virtual representation area of the motor vehicle (KZF) on the vehicle Internet page (VHP), - interchange of a piece of pairing information (PW) between the Internet server (IS) and the mobile communication terminal (SP), - setup of a communication link between the central computation unit (HU) and the Internet server (IS) for the purpose of data interchange between the central computation unit (HU) and the virtual representation area of the motor vehicle (KFZ) on the vehicle Internet page (VHP), - interchange of the pairing information (PW) between the Internet server (IS) and the central computation unit (HU), - transmission of the pairing information (PW) to the central computation unit (HU) by the mobile communication terminal (SP), - identification and authentication of the mobile communication terminal (SP) by the central computation unit (HU) using the pairing information (PW), - allowance of the coupling of the mobile communication terminal (SP) to the central computation unit (HU). |
