PURPOSE: A napa cabbage salting tank is provided to salt napa cabbages with proper and uniform salinity and to reduce the time required in salting in the winter season. CONSTITUTION: A napa cabbage salting tank comprises a top-open main body(1), multiple supporting boards(3) installed inside of the main body for loading multilayer of napa cabbages; a double floor board(4) installed inside of the main body for separating the inner space into a salty water space of upper side and a water jacket of lower side; a drain pipe(9) installed adjacent to the double floor board for discharging the salty water out; and a compressed air injection pipe(11) installed at the top of the double floor board for jetting compressed air to the napa cabbage loading space of the main body. The supporting boards are mounted on and supported by the brackets fixed at both sides of the main body. The double floor board is formed as a dented shape that the middle portion is lower than edges, is sloped toward one direction, and includes the drain pipe installed at the lowest part. Multiple partition plates are installed within the water jacket which includes an inlet pipe connected at the inlet side and an outlet pipe(8) at the outlet side. The partition plates are arranged in a zig-zag pattern for discharging the introduced water out through the outlet pipe after circulating inside of the water jacket. When an open/close valve(10) of the drain pipe is open, the salty water in the main body is easily discharged out. |
