<p>A drumhead for a snare drum or marching drum comprising a drumskin 5 which is folded around a circular support ring 1. The drumskin is then attached to itself on the underside of the playing surface, which has the effect of locking the drumskin between the rim of an anchor ring 4 and the drumskin playing surface. The circular support ring may be made of steel, copper, brass, aluminium, plastic or epoxy resin. The drumskin made be made from carbon fibre or plastic material. The drumskin may be fixed to itself using epoxy resin, contact adhesive or other types of glue.</p> |
