The present invention relates to a method for the production of antibodies in an antibody secreting cell by means of inhibiting autophagy, wherein said autophagy inhibition is achieved by: inhibiting selectively autophagy-dependent regulation of the endoplasmic reticulum and/or inhibiting selectively autophagic degradation of the endoplasmic reticulum and/or inhibiting the autophagic function of an autophagic protein selected from the group of consisting of p62, NBR1, optineurin, NDP52, Nix or a functional derivative thereof in said antibody secreting cell. |
