A secondary battery is provided to enable the upward diffusion of an electrolyte through the bottom of an electrolyte assembly, to impregnate an electrode assembly with an electrolyte fully, and to reduce impregnation time of an electrolyte. A secondary battery includes: an electrode assembly; a can for accommodating the electrode assembly and an electrolyte; an insulating lower tape(200) which covers at least the bottom of the electrode assembly; and a cap assembly which combines with an opened upper part of the can. An uneven part is formed on a bottom cover part(211) of the lower tape, which covers the bottom of the electrode assembly. The lower tape comprises a base material substrate(210), and an adhesive layer(220) applied on at least a part of the base material substrate. |
