PURPOSE: An apparatus for lifting a lower electrode of a spot welding machine is provided to facilitate welding on a complex structure by a spot welding machine through stable and accurate lifting of a lower electrode. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for lifting a lower electrode of a spot welding machine comprises an operating rod(130), a cylinder(140), a piston(150), a plunger(160), a fixed stopper(170), a stopper operating air pressure line(124), a check valve(124a), an operating spring(190), and a cylindrical movable stopper(180). The operating rod has an annular holding protrusion(132). The cylinder has an air pressure passage(142) in a position corresponding to a rising air pressure inlet port(122). The piston comprises a piston rod(152) whose top is inserted to the upper side of the holding protrusion of the operating rod. The plunger is moved up and down by being coupled to the piston rod. The outer diameter of the fixed stopper gradually increases to the bottom. The stopper operating air pressure line is formed in a lower electrode body(110) to allow the air pressure exerted to the piston through the rising air pressure inlet port to flow to the upper side of an operating space when the air pressure is equal to or greater than a specific level. The check valve opens the stopper operating air pressure line when pressure equal to or greater than a specific level is applied. The movable stopper tightens the lower part of the fixed stopper to maintain the operating rod raised. The operating spring the movable stopper raised when the pressure delivered through the stopper operating air pressure line is equal to or less than a specific level. |
