Olefin derivs. esp. olefine oxide of normally gaseous olefines are produced, using an electrochemical cell contg. an aqueous electrolyte. The process comprises (1) leading the olefine into the electrolyte so that it is contacted with molecular or nascent O2 produced at the anodic surface (2) maintaining the electrolyte in the iquid phase as a temp. of at least 24 degrees C (3) drawing off gases contg. the O2-contg. olefine deriv. |
