<p>The method involves driving a rotor to a predetermined rotor speed, and carrying out combustion of a gaseous fuel within a stationary gas turbine. A hot driving gas is supplied to the rotor by the turbine. Compressor air is discharged into an exhaust channel of the turbine via discharge lines. Combustion temperature of the fuel is increased until the rotor reaches a nominal speed (n0). A portion (mai) of the discharged air is recycled into a suction passage of a compressor, where a mass flow through the compressor is less than 50 percent of a nominal mass flow.</p> |
