<p>PURPOSE: A touch screen device and a driving method are provided to perform a setup operation and/or an ADC(Analog to Digital Conversion) operation with a sensing operation while sensing operation time, thereby reducing the whole sensing time of the touch screen. CONSTITUTION: Tx lines and Rx lines are intersected. Sensor nodes(TSN) are formed every an intersection unit. A touch screen driving circuit supplies pulses to the Tx lines. The touch screen driving circuit converts the voltage of the sensor nodes into digital data by sampling the voltage received through the Rx lines. The touch screen driving circuit operates a setup operation, a sensing operation, an ADC operation, a coordinate recognition operation, and a data transmission operation. The touch screen driving circuit performs the ADC operation with the sensing operation while sensing time in parallel.</p> |
