An interior trim part for a bodywork component of a motor vehicle has a lighting system which comprises at least a first component 12 which generates a light signal and a second component 10 which outputs the light signal in the direction of the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle. The trim part also has a moveable region (200, Fig 3) which can be moved, with respect to a non-moveable region (300, Fig 3) from a stationary normal position to an open position, which is displaced with respect to the non-moveable region. In use the first component of the light system generates, in the normal position, a light signal which is input into the second component, which passes on the light signal in the manner of a lightguide. The first component may be attached to the non-moveable region. |
