<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a degree of freedom in positioning a radiation source relative to a subject, and to constitute the entire system at an inexpensive cost by easily altering the radiation source in accordance with an imaging region of the subject. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a radiation image photographing system 10, X-ray sources 30a, 30b are detachably mounted on a mounting member 142 attached to an end portion of an arm member 140. In making rounds, the X-ray source 30a or 30b is mounted on the mounting member 142 in accordance with the imaging region of the subject 34, and radiation image information is photographed by the mounted X-ray source 30a or 30b.
