PURPOSE: A security device for processing asymmetric traffic and a method thereof are provided to process one session by transmitting a network packet to the security device. CONSTITUTION: A session information DB(320) stores session information. An HA(High Availability) interface(330) communicates session information or a network packet with other security device. An extracting unit extracts session information related to the network packet received from the HA interface or the session information DB. A determination unit(350) determines a security device indicated by the security device identifier of the session information extracted by the extracting unit.
