<p>Crude petroleum is stabilised against deposition of paraffin and asphaltic components during storage or transport by addn. of Na2CO3 and polyethylene powder of 10-50 mu particle size. These are introduced as a suspension using liquid hydrocarbons, gas-oil, petrol or crude petroleum as the disperse medium.</p> |
