<p>A component having a heat protection system is provided. The heat protection system includes an intumescent coating which extends over a surface of the component. The heat protection system further includes a heat resistant wrapping which covers the coating on the component. The wrapping is expandable when the coating intumesces to maintain the wrapping's coverage of the coating.</p> |
