<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil winding frame for a transformer which makes neither iron loss nor an excitation current worse by securing buckling strength of an inner winding of the transformer and also preventing an iron core from being oppressed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The iron core 3 comprises a winding iron core formed by winding a magnetic belt in multiple layers or a multilayer iron core formed by stacking magnetic belts in multiple layers, and a coil 2 is inserted into the iron core 3. The coil winding frame 1a disposed at the innermost periphery of the coil 2 is molded arcuately outward to be improved in strength against buckling of being dented inward to the side of the iron core 3. Therefore, buckling strength is secured for the inner winding 21 and even in a large-capacity transformer, an iron core 3 is not oppressed to make neither iron core nor an excitation current worse.
