The method involves selecting cells from a set of cells of a reference production indicator map. Production indicators e.g. fluid volume increments, in the selected cells are determined. The determined production indicators on the set of cells of the map are interpolated by an interpolation model accounting for distance between a cell to be interpolated and a closest well to the cell to be interpolated. Position of a well i.e. simulated well, is defined adjacent to the cell where the production indicator is maximum. Another well is drilled in the defined position. An independent claim is also included for a computer program product including a set of instructions to perform a method for developing an underground reservoir. |
