Fire-resistant hydraulic liquid with improved - lubricating properties

Hydraulic liquid comprises: (a) 40-80 wt.% water; (b) 8-30 wt.% ethylene- and/or propylene-glycol; (c) 8-30 wt.% water-soluble polyoxyethylene glycol (mol.wt. >5000); (d) 0.5-5 wt.% of a salt obtained by reacting a satd. st. chain aliphatic C6-12 acid with 30-150% excess of an N-contg. organic base; (e) 0.1-1 wt.% of a condensation product of ethylene oxide and other alkylene oxides with 1 mole of C8-18 fatty alcohol; and (f) 4 wt.% anti-corrosion and antioxidant additives.
