PURPOSE: A rainwater purifying apparatus is provided to discharge initial rainwater into a river and to purify only the continuous rainwater, thereby preventing an overload of a filter tank and improving the quality of the filtered water. CONSTITUTION: A rainwater purifying apparatus comprises a sum(3) with rainwater flowing in, a flow medium(7), a filtration tank(4) filled with a flowing medium(7) for the elimination of foreign substances included in the rainwater and a supply tank(5) supplying rainwater for survival. The filtrating tank includes an upper perforated plate(41), a lower perforated plate(42), an aerator and a sludge discharge pipe(48). The upper perforated plate and the lower perforated plate blocks the flowing medium and includes a through hole through which rainwater freely passes. The aerator is installed to inject the compressed air into the flowing medium filled in between the upper perforated plate and the lower perforated plate. The sludge discharge pipe is installed to remove the contaminants separated from the flowing medium. |
