PURPOSE: A silent chain capable of reducing friction loss and noise is provided to reduce friction loss by using the structure of a guide plate, a middle link plate or an inner link plate and to improve mechanical efficiency of power transmission and noise performance. CONSTITUTION: A silent chain(100) includes a guide row, a non-guide row, and a pair of connection pins. The guide row includes a pair of guide plates(110) and four middle link plates(130). The non-guide row includes five inner link plates(150). The pair of connection pins is separated from the pair of guide plates in the driving direction of the chain from each guide row. The pair of connection pins rotatably and individually connects the middle link plate and the inner link plate around a rotary center line(Lc). |
