The airbag device has a gas generator (40) that is installed in a B-pillar (30) of a vehicle chassis at a location corresponding to chest of an occupant. A chest protection airbag (10) is inflated with air supplied from the generator and expanded towards the chest of occupant, during collision of the vehicle with air. A head-protecting airbag (20) is inflated with air through an air tube (25) in upper portion of the B-pillar, and expanded towards head of the occupant. |
