PURPOSE: A multipurpose solution for contact lens is provided to have low side effects, have excellent antimicrobial effect, and to be relatively stable against heat. CONSTITUTION: A multipurpose solution for contact lens comprises of purified water, sodium chloride, suspending agent, stabilizer, an isotonising agent, a buffering agent, and a preservative. The preservative comprises naringin. The comprised amount of naringin is 0.01-1 N. The suspending agent is povidone. The stabilizer is sodium edentate. The isotonising agent is sodium hydrogen carbonate. The surfactant is polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene block polymer. The buffering agent is one or more selected from sodium phosphate and boric acid.
