PURPOSE: A casting roll crown control method in a twin roll strip casting process is provided to control the temperature of casting roll cooling water when a thin plate is manufactured depending on casting roll heat expansion amount to thereby secure a small amount of thin plate crown. CONSTITUTION: A casting roll crown control method in a twin roll strip casting process comprises the following steps. The temperature of cooling water provided to a casting roll is controlled depending on the thickness of a thin plate so as to adjust thermal expansion of the casting roll. Thin plates with various thicknesses are casted by adjusting casting roll crown. The temperature of the cooling water decreases as the thin plate thickness decreases. A cooling water mean temperature(Tw) is adjusted by a variation in a heat transfer coefficient(hw) in a cooling water hole. |
