In order to prevent contamination by potentially harmful external agents of a sweet of the type that has an edible portion (C) connected to the end of a handle in the form of a stick (P), a casing is provided, which has at least two complementary parts (2, 3) operatively arranged so as to move in relation to each other from a closed position wherein the edible part is contained inside the casing to an open position wherein said edible portion is accessible from the outside; in addition to a support (4) in the form of a sleeve suitable for inserting the handle (P) in a tight but slidable fit, and connected to at least one of the complementary parts.
