PURPOSE: A surface defect forming apparatus for wire rods and a wire rod delamination test method using the same are provided to predict delamination by measuring the depth of a wire rod using data obtained through a surface defect forming apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A surface defect forming apparatus for wire rods comprises a dies body(20) which is installed at the exit of a rolling mill, a plurality of jigs(22) which are installed on the dies body and fix a wire rod drawn from the rolling mill, contact pads(24) which is installed on the ends of the jigs and contact the wire rod, and a projected tip(26) which is installed on at least one of the contact pads and forms a surface defect on the wire rod. |
