An inside-vehicle network diagnostic monitoring system and a method thereof for analyzing the exact reason of malfunction by inspecting the overall network status of the vehicles are provided to diagnose a bus off and a time out error due to a disconnection and a short circuit of the malfunction of a controller. A fault item finding unit discovers a malfunction item by connecting the high speed can network and the low speed can network of a vehicle. A fault instance generating unit(420) generates a malfunction instance by receiving malfunction item data from a malfunction item discovery unit. A memory unit for setting weight by fault item(410) sets the malfunction item weighted value. A fault information/fault processing logic module for the malfunction alert/failure management counts the communications fault frequency at network according to the domain. |
