PURPOSE: A window for a building is provided to block heat transfer between a sash frame and a concrete wall by using a heat transfer blocking member having a low heat conductivity, thereby improving heat insulation property, and preventing water leakage due to rainwater. CONSTITUTION: A window for a building includes a concrete wall(20), a window(10), a heat transfer blocking member(100), and a downspout. The concrete wall, which is an external wall of the building, is penetrated in order to install the window. The heat transfer blocking member between the sash frame(14) of the window and the concrete wall lowers heat conductivity in order to prevent a heat bridge from being generated between the sash frame of the window and the concrete wall. The downspout installed outside the sash frame prevents water, which flows along the window, from permeating among the sash frame, the heat transfer blocking member, and the concrete wall. |
