PURPOSE: A device for measuring the depth of a slag gate is provided to appropriately determine the repair timing and to process the repair, thereby preventing the loss of molten iron through the slag gate. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring the depth of a slag gate comprises a device body, a measuring unit(300), a jetting member(320), and a driving unit(200). The measuring unit is arranged in a front end of the device body and inserted into the slag gate, thereby measuring the depth of the slag gate. The jetting member is arranged inside the measuring unit and jets cooling water or nitrogen. The driving unit is arranged in the rear end of the device body and is connected to the measuring unit, thereby moving the measuring unit forwards and backwards.
