PURPOSE: A functional tube of a sink for preventing the backflow of bad smell is provided to facilitate maintenance by simplifying a structure and to block the backflow of bad smell and a pest. CONSTITUTION: A functional tube of a sink comprises top and lower connection pipes(101,102), a plastic ball(103), and an extra housing unit(104). Sewage which is falling through a drain device flows into the top connection pipe. The sewage is drained through a lower connection pipe by pushing a plastic ball towards the extra housing unit. The plastic ball physically blocks the bad smell and pest by positioning the upper part of the lower connection pipe due to the slope of the extra housing unit.
