<p>Transverse rolling process for the manufacture of articles for revolution in which a bar is introduced between two rolls which turn in opposite directions and is shaped by wedge shaped tools arranged spirally on the roll surfaces so that the desired article is produced and sheared off in one revolution of the rolls. No device is required to advance the bar between the rolls or to hold it in place.</p> |
