A gas leakage detection system using a robot and a detecting method of the same are provided to indicate rapidly an accident due to gas leakage by generating alarm sound and transmitting a message. A gas leakage detection terminal(100) includes a gas leakage detection sensor(101), a gas circuit breaker(103), a communication unit(104) for communicating with a robot(200), and a control unit for controlling each of components. The control unit of the gas leakage detection terminal checks periodically states of the gas leakage detection sensor and the gas circuit breaker and transmits the checked state information to the robot. The robot includes a communication unit(202), an obstacle detection sensor(203), a mobile mechanism(204) for moving the robot, a database(205) for storing and updating the checked state information, a gateway(207) to be connected to a HOMS server(300), and a control unit for controlling each of components of robot. The control unit of the robot reads the checked state information and transmits the checked state information to the HOMS server. The HOMS server is connected to the robot in order to transmit the received state information to a user terminal(500). The user terminal is connected to the HOMS server in order to display the received state information. An internet unit(400) connects the user terminal with the HOMS server. |
