An insulator for mounting an engine is provided to reduce vibration of a vehicle and to improve durability of the vehicle by installing a spring between the engine and the vehicle to absorb vibration and shock. An insulator for mounting an engine comprises a front bracket(50), a rear bracket(60), and a spring(70). The front bracket is assembled with one part of the engine. The rear bracket is engaged with one part of a vehicle. The spring is formed between the front bracket and the rear bracket. A protrusion unit(61) is formed at one side of the rear bracket. An insert groove(51) where the protrusion unit of the rear bracket is inserted is formed on the front bracket. The spring is located between the insert groove of the front bracket and the protrusion unit of the rear bracket. |
