<p>PURPOSE: A flat panel display device with an oxide thin film transistor and a method for fabricating the same are provided to prevent short circuit by using a step difference compensation panel. CONSTITUTION: Gate lines and data lines intersect each other in order to define pixel areas on a substrate. A thin film transistor includes an oxide channel layer(114) formed in the intersection area of the gate lines and the data lines. A pixel electrode(109) and a common electrode(125) are formed in the pixel region. A step compensated pattern(121) is formed in the intersection areas of a gate electrode and a source/drain electrode, the data lines, and the gate lines.</p> |
