PURPOSE: A method for controlling a pulse input device is provided to control a change of a pulse count by deciding whether an input pulse is normal or not, thereby preventing errors of the pulse count according to a pulse input of an abnormal state. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a pulse input device is as follows. Each pulse signal value corresponding to a rising edge and falling edge of first pulse signals among input pulse signals with respect to two phases is detected(S110,S120). Whether a pulse count is normal or not is decided by comparing the two second pulse signal values detected from a detection step(S130). If the two second pulse signal values are different, the pulse count is changed. |
