PURPOSE: A fluid pressure cylinder apparatus capable of controlling the cushion pressure and stroke is provided to prevent the excessive fluid pressure applied to a cylinder tube when expanding a piston. CONSTITUTION: A fluid pressure cylinder apparatus(10) capable of controlling the cushion pressure and stroke includes a hollow cylinder tube(20), a rod(30), a piston(40), a rod cover(50), a buffering piston(60), and a cushion ring(70). One end of the rod is located inside the cylinder tube, and moves forward and backward inside the cylinder tube to the longitudinal direction. The piston is combined to the rod. The rod cover is combined to the cylinder tube for preventing the complete separation of the rod from the tube. The buffering piston is located in between the piston and the rod cover. The cushion ring is closely located to the buffering piston.
