PURPOSE: A water pump for vehicles and an engine cooling system with the same are provided to prevent the malfunction of the water pump due to an overheated controller by easily cooling the controller since the controller is arranged in a direction where cooling water flows. CONSTITUTION: An engine cooling system with a water pump for vehicles comprises an engine(200) and a cooling water pipe(300). The water pump for vehicles comprises a stator(110), a rotor(120), a blade(130), a controller(140), and a case(150). The blade is connected to the rotor. The controller is arranged in a direction of being connected to the blade of the rotor to control a motor of the stator and the rotor. The case surrounds the stator, the rotor, the blade, and cooling water entered inside thereof and has an inlet(151) and an outlet(152) of the cooling water. The controller is cooled by the cooling water in the case. The engine emits heat by the cooling water.
