METHOD FOR INDIRECT DETERMINATION OF AIR GAP STATIC MISALIGNMENT IN SYNCHRONOUS MACHINES

摘要

A method for indirect determination of static misalignment of an air gap in synchronous machines comprises measurement of amplitude magnitude of first, third, ninth and tooth harmonics of synchronous machine stator winding EMF; the obtained results are compared to the reference values. The measurements are carried out at open circuit and with low magnitude of excitation current.
