PURPOSE: An electrode comprises a catalyst metal with nanocups or metal nanorings structure, thereby improving oxidation and/or reduction efficiency due to the catalyst metal. CONSTITUTION: An electrode comprises a substrate(10); a plurality of metal nanocups(100) or nanorings which are separated from each other on the substrate and have openings aligned upwards. A manufacturing method of an electrode comprises a step of forming a polymer layer on a substrate; a step of forming a hole pattern to expose the upper side of the substrate on the polymer layer; and a step of forming metal nanocups or metal nanorings by angle deposing a metal to the inner circumference of the hole pattern while rotating the substrate; and a step of removing the polymer layer. |
