METHOD FOR SIMULATION OF DEGENERATIVE PROCESS ACCOMPANIED BY GROWING CONJUNCTIVA OVER THE CORNEA AND SIMILAR TO PTERYGIUM BY ITS MORPHOHISTOLOGIC CHARACTERISTICS

A method for simulation of degenerative process accompanied by growing conjunctiva over the cornea and similar to pterygium by its morphohistologic characteristics consists in that deepithelization of cornea in trigone form (similar to pterygium) is performed, limbus stripe 1cm in length and 0.3cm in width is excised (limbal deficiency is caused), and a strip of blotting paper 1x0.5 cm wetted in n-heptanol is applied on this place. Deephithelized cornea is coated with separated cojuctiva which is fixed to cornea by suturing.
