PURPOSE: A method for providing a seamless service and a system thereof are provided to offer the continuity of applications by enabling a user to use the application in other terminals. CONSTITUTION: A usage history information DB(DataBase)(350) stores the usage history information of an application executed by terminals matched with users. A terminal information DB(360) stores seamless target application information for the terminals in each terminal. A seamless usage information generation unit(330) generates seamless usage information based on seamless target application information matched to the seamless service request terminal and the usage history information by responding to a seamless service request received from the seamless request terminal. A transmission and reception unit(340) transmits the seamless usage information to the seamless service request terminal. The seamless service request terminal executes one or more seamless target applications based on the transmitted seamless usage information.
