PURPOSE: A backlight unit is provided to minimize the thickness of a bezel area in a liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION: A printed circuit board(20) includes a bottom part(20b), a side part(20a), and an extended part(20c). The bottom part is parallel to the exit face of a light guide plate. The side part is curved. The extended part is extended from the side part to a lower side. Light emitting diode packages(22) are mounted on the side part. A connector(24) is mounted on the extended part. |
