PURPOSE: A steam oven having a cooling device is provided to cool without damages to foods by determining an existence of the foods with a controller. CONSTITUTION: A steam oven having a cooling device(100) comprises a temperature sensor(40), a weight measuring sensor(50), a door opening/closing detecting sensor(60) a water sprayer(70) and a controller(90). The temperature sensor detects an inner temperature of a cooking chamber(21) of the steam oven. The weight measuring sensor reacts to a weight of a cooking plate, on which foods are placed. The door opening/closing detecting sensor detects an open/close state of a door(23) of the cooking chamber. The water sprayer sprays water through an inner water spraying hole(71) of the cooking chamber in a housing(20). When cooling operation signals are inputted through a keypad(24), the controller confirms an existence of the foods in the cooking chamber. If the foods do not exist, the water sprayer operates according to the temperature of the inside cooking chamber and the inside cooking chamber is cooled by spraying the water. If the foods exist inside the cooking chamber, an exhaust fan(22a) of the steam oven and a steam guide fan(80) operate according to the temperature of the inside cooking chamber and the heat inside the cooking chamber is discharged to outside. |
