PURPOSE: A support element for protecting a window pane is provided to prevent a window pane from being broken by uniformly dispersing a wind load adapted to a window pane and to support a window pane by simply attaching regardless of the size of the window pane. CONSTITUTION: A support element for protecting a window pane comprises a window pane supporting a main body(50) and an extension belt(60) radially connected to the window pane supporting the main body. The window pane supporting a main body comprises a first member(10) and a second member(20). A first member is connected to the extension belt. A second member is connected to the window pane by being fixated to the side of the first member and comprises an absorbing plate(21) and a lever(22) for absorbing the absorbing plate to the window pane.
